What you’ll learn

  • Assessing an emergency situation in outdoor settings and ensuring scene safety

  • Performing CPR on adults

  • Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)

  • Managing choking, severe bleeding and shock

  • Treating burns, fractures, sprains and minor injuries

  • Responding to environmental conditions such as cold exposure and heat exhaustion
